Stories of Hope
He once walked the streets collecting empty bottles — not for fun, but to pay his school fees. While other children played, he searched party grounds and trash heaps, trading bottles for a few coins and a chance to learn. Some Fridays, he missed class — not from laziness, but from purpose. More bottles meant more hope.
Through it all, he never stopped believing that education could change his story.
Today, through Project Hope, he’s back in school — studying, smiling, and building the future he once only dreamed of.
A struggle for survival became a story of grace — proof that when faith meets opportunity, hope rises from the streets.
Dreams Paid in Bottles.....
He lost his hearing to untreated measles — his parents couldn’t afford to take him to the hospital.But what he lacked in sound, he made up for in strength. Every morning, he walks to school with quiet determination, reading lips, watching hands, and following lessons with unwavering focus. He dreams of a future where nothing — not poverty, not silence — can hold him back. Through Project Hope, he’s learning, growing, and proving that disability is not inability — that faith and education can give every child a voice, even when the world cannot hear them.
Hope Beyond Silence
She joined school just weeks before her national exams — a girl who had been out of class for months because her family couldn’t afford the fees. With borrowed books and long nights under dim light, she studied with quiet determination and unshakable faith. When her NECO results came, she scored a B3 — a miracle born of grace and grit. In her success, we see more than a grade; we see proof that potential only needs opportunity. Through Project Hope, she’s now preparing for what’s next — a future brighter than the world once allowed her to dream.Her story reminds us that when God breathes on effort, impossibilities become testimonies.
